You don’t need a season
to get started.
Begin with clothes you already enjoy wearing. Use color ideas to explore—not to give yourself another rule to follow.
1. Pick three familiar favorites
Choose a top you reach for often, a neutral you find easy to combine, and one accent you love. Wear them or lay them together in even daylight. Notice what you like about the combination: gentle contrast, a deep base, a bright accent, or similar shades.
You don’t need a photo upload, a purchase or an account. This exercise explores your preferences; it doesn’t determine a seasonal palette.
2. Change one thing at a time
Keep the same neutral and try two different tops. Compare a quieter color with a brighter one, or a lighter shade with a deeper one. Start with similar fabrics so shine and texture don’t dominate the comparison.
What do warmth, depth and softness mean?
Warmth: whether a color looks relatively more golden or more blue-based beside another shade. Depth: how light or dark it looks. Softness: how muted or clear it looks. None of these qualities alone assigns your season.
3. Choose your next step
Still unsure? Browse the shop without choosing a season, then narrow by collection and type. Save purchases for a genuine wardrobe gap, and confirm the actual fabric, fit and return terms at the retailer.
